11. A residential school for children from financially poor background, had a huge challenge. Many a times, the teenaged children used to become very violent, use foul language, beat each other up, even one of the teachers was beaten. Their academics too was suffering. One of the students, in spite of repeated warning continued to be misbehave. The management decided to expel him from school. I asked for a chance to work with the boy as with all the other students. The management and teachers were astounded at the shift in the boy s behavior and in his academic performance. The management has acknowledged a total shift in the atmosphere of the school, a calmness has descended on the school.
12. A 2nd year law student , who was studying in one of the top colleges of Bangalore, was in the rehabilitation center for substance abuse. He was under psychiatric treatment and medication for depression. He was highly restless. After counseling him for few months, his restlessness reduced to a huge extent, his dose of medicines were reduced and he started attending college regularly.
13. A 9th standard student, with stammering since childhood. Had couple of counseling sessions with him. His episodes of stammering has come down considerably and is quite confident about his communication now.
14. Anoop 36yrs
A resident of Kerala, working for a shipping company. He is married and has two children. He was very restless and violent and was under psychiatric treatment. He was referred to us through a family friend. He had an extra marital affair with a wife of a rich business man. They would meet eachother in different cities of India. The wife found out about the affair and left him along with the children. He was not allowed to meet his children. This created a lot of chaos in his life. His job suffered due to this. He had a session with us in person and subsequent sessions over calls. Had a session with his wife too. Now is doing fine and leading a happy married life.
